The National Association of Case Management was founded after the first
national case management conference in 1990 attended by more than 2,000 direct service
case managers.
The purpose of the National Association of Case Management organization is to provide case
managers and other community support professionals with an opportunity for growth and for
the promotion of direct service case management.
